Abstract


In order to solve the greenhouse environmental factors monitoring system wiring is difficult, high cost, single parameter monitoring, lack of flexibility and scalability, which can’t meet the requirements of the modern intelligent greenhouse. In this study, a new remote monitoring system was established. In terms of the hardware, the SCM C8051F040 was adopted to collect the environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO2 concentration and so on. All data were uploaded via CAN bus and GPRS to the remote host computer .The collected data would be sent to the relevant agricultural management personnel in real time through the GPRS network so that the management could be carried out. Based on Kingview software platform, which was developed to use graphic language and command language system of the PC. Preliminary experimental results show that the system has the correct data transmission, stable operation, good real-time performance and accurately monitor the environmental factors in the greenhouse. The system has the advantages of flexible networking and strong expansibility and intuitive interface, which can well meet the needs of environmental factors monitoring in greenhouse.
