However, all of them require the attendees to consciously record their attendance. This is prone to human error as some attendees may forget to do that. This paper proposes an automated attendance system with implicit authentication, based on the connection between the attendees’ mobile devices and the Wi-Fi network. Our evaluation shows that this system is almost 100\% accurate in recording staff attendance. It is applicable due to many factors.
