Abstract


This paper produces a comprehensive literature review to evaluate the impact of technology development with IT governance mechanism for enhancing academic performance. This paper includes structure, process, and direct actions of reviewed papers related to IT governance. The aim is to analysis and review the type of Technology Enhanced Learning mostly used in educational field to enhance the academic performance connected to IT Governance of e-learning use. The method proposed here should explains the ideas and the quality assurance standards to enhance the academic performance with approval of IT governance. These studies include any special identifications or criteria for e-learning method and student academic performance. The results of this literature review reveal the side has led to new documentation ways, that include written learning outcomes, assessment plans, reports on results and improvement plans.

Author Biographies

Ragad M Tawafak

is a PhD student in Computer Science at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She got her MSc in Computer Science from AlMousel University in Iraq about hybrid neural network and genetic algorithms. Tawafak got her Bachelor degree from AlMousel University with an expert system of bacteria classification project. She got with the fifth honor degree in Computer Science. Currently, she is a lecturer in information technology department in ALBuraimi College, Oman more than fourteen years. Moreover, I have shown an excellent achievement in research competition by wining gold medals in research exhibitions locally and internationally were indexed under Scopus. Her current research interests include e-learning, Technology Adoption & Acceptance, Academic performance.

Awanis Romli

is currently a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Malaysia with more than 10 years' experience as an academic lecturer at Faculty of Computer Systems & Software Engineering, UMP. I received my PHD in Engineering from Cardiff University, UK. I am able to work in a managerial role or as part of team and having the proven ability to successfully work to tight schedules and deadlines. I hold various responsibilities in the administrative and academician works. Currently, I am the Head of Computer Science Program, fellow of Centre for Academic Innovation & Competitiveness (CAIC), project leader for the research grants and expert panel for the database course. My research expertise is in knowledge management, integrated system, decision making, e-learning and sustainable engineering. Moreover, I have shown an excellent achievement in research competition by wining gold medals in research exhibitions locally and internationally
