Abstract


E-portfolios are known as a technology- supported learning method for the documentation of competency development. In this article the didactic approach, the course design and the results of the Leonardo da Vinci project MOSEP (More self-esteem with my e-portfolio) are described. The main objective of the project was to develop, test and evaluate a new e-portfolio training concept for teachers and tutors in order to support learners during their competence development phase.

Wolf Hilzensauer, Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft m.b.H.

Wolf Hilzensauer works as a researcher and project manager in the field of technology enhanced learning. His focus is in ICT supported innovative educational processes, and multimedia, with a primary focus on vocational training in SMEs and eLearning frameworks in higher education. At the centre of his interests the so called "Social Software" concept of design, namely Weblogs, Wikis and ePortfolios, which he is applying in the design of didactical concepts for innovative learning environments and develops concepts for competence-based learning processes with the support of ICT-tools.
