WordTrek: a digital educational material that contributes to vocabulary learning in higher education is a study whose objective was to determine the contribution that the integration of this educational resource makes to the process of learning vocabulary in English. A qualitative study of the descriptive scope with a case study design was conducted. The results indicated that the material increases students' motivation and interest in learning vocabulary, helps the development of vocabulary learning strategies and promotes collaborative work and autonomy. It is concluded that vocabulary learning is a complex process affected by different factors and it requires the design of methodologies and materials that promote its constant practice.
